My daughter is among the many kids and teens who are part of a huge following of fans of a boy band super group called the Jonas Brothers. We were surfing the web together last night and she discovered the image of the Jonas Brothers above on what she believed to be one of our modern leather sofa styles. The Jonas Brothers are huge and if you ask any girl who is an avid Disney Channel watcher or young teen girl who the Jonas Brothers are, I would say it is safe to say that 4 out 5 will be able to tell you their names (Kevin, Joe & Nick) birthdays, who they are dating and what they are up to both professionally and privately quite easily.

I don’t think adults quite grasp how popular and talented these young men are and I’m sure in the coming years the Jonas Brothers will get bigger and better and have a very bright future ahead of them. My daughter keeps me updated on all things Jonas, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez & Demi Lovato. I would say anything Disney and of course is looking forward to the upcoming High School Musical 3 movie coming out in theaters.

I’m pretty sure there’s a market for Jonas Brothers furniture and other room decor and working in furniture I’ve been actively looking for it through different suppliers. But nothing has turned up yet. I asked my daughter to see if there is anything out there for her that she’d like but nothing seems to be out there in the way of dressers, chests or beds with Jonas Brothers themes. I’ve come across quite a bit of Camp Rock things like bedding, pillows and comforters and the occasional mini chair but there just isn’t much in the way of real furniture that has that famous “JB” on it from the boys. I’m sure Disney marketing will at some point come out with some more things as the popularity of the Jonas Brothers continues to grow but themed furniture may not be one of them.

I guess some new projects are in the works for the Jonas Brothers such as a new series starring Nick, Joe & Kevin called J.O.N.A.S My daughter says this will be a sort of spy kids themed show where the brothers are like young James Bonds. The Jonas Brothers have also been touring opening for Avril Lavigne (another of my daughter’s favorite singers) this year in 2008 and playing the US and European tour with Avril.

Its pretty exciting to see young teens and kids caught up in music and branching out to other types of music and musicians and I think the Jonas Brothers have had a positive effect for this in getting kids and teens interested in music. I think my daughter just wishes she could furnish her room with beds, dressers and nightstands that are “JB” themed.
