When It’s Time To Part With Our Old Trusted Recliner

Perhaps you’ve had that old reliable recliner for twenty years now. Oh sure, it has been a faithful piece of furniture that has never let you down over the years. It’s been comfortable, relaxing and has been a great help in falling asleep and watching a movie.

Now however your old recliner is slowly falling apart. You can feel springs hitting you in the back. The upholstery has worn off in different areas where padding and foam are now coming through. The stitching is unraveling and the worse thing is it doesn’t feel right anymore.

It was a great chair and you’re attached to it for obvious reasons but it’s time to go. Yes, it is always sad when a piece of furniture is ready to be retired. We can feel however that it was able to provide us use beyond the normal wear and tear and that it served us well for many years.

Our new recliner has a lot to live up to compared to our old trusted recliner. Perhaps someday it will leave the same lasting impression on us that our old companion did.
